Answer: A community is a group of people who live in the same place and shares same language and culture. For examples, Gurung community, Bramhin community, Magar community, Tharu community, etc.

b. What do you mean by community work? Give examples.

Answer: The work which is done together by the people of community is known as community work. Some examples of community works are i-cleanliness program, ii. plantation, iii. road repair, iv. calling police when there is theft and quarrel, v. Volunteer helping people when in trouble, sick, etc.

c. Do you want to help the neighbours in community work?

Answer: Yes, I do want to help the neighbours in community work.

d. In what community work have you participated till now? Make a list.
